Family Intervention

Most of us would agree that family life is special. We would like it to be the place where we feel safe and valued.  So very often the stresses of daily life and the difficulties and pressures we all face as individuals make this experience fraught with conflict and unhappiness. This can lead to an atmosphere of criticism, nagging and general negativity. Often we wonder how the situation got so bad!

Help is at hand! Just a few family intervention sessions can make all the difference. A session will provide the neutral space to address any problems keeping escalation at bay.  With the input of an experienced counsellor it is so much easier to communicate constructively.

This will help to become aware of the way we usually respond.  It will help to re-align our behaviour so that it communicates more positive messages.  It is an opportunity for those hidden issues and agendas to be expressed and to clarify the hopes the family has about the way they want to live and support each other. Past grievances and hurts can be addressed and relationships restored. The whole family can start to enjoy family life again.
